Our Practice Team

Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP) Staff

As part of the ongoing Primary Care Improvement Plan, our Practice works alongside a wider team of healthcare professionals who support patient care and service delivery. These staff are not employed directly by the Practice but are part of local initiatives designed to strengthen and modernise primary care.

You may come across PCIP staff working within the Practice, including roles such as:

  • Pharmacists – supporting medication reviews and prescribing safety.

  • Advanced Physiotherapists – offering musculoskeletal assessments and treatment.

  • Mental Health Practitioners – providing early intervention and support.

  • Advanced Nurse Practitioners - supporting the delivery of urgent, on the day care. 

Their presence helps broaden the range of services available to patients, ensuring care is more accessible and tailored to individual needs. While they are not permanent members of our Practice team, they play an important role in enhancing the care we provide.
